INTERPROJECTION
Video installation
The work uses two video projectors that are positioned face to face, directed in opposite directions. Its content, however, is not projected frontally on a surface, but laterally, distorting the images in a trapezoidal perspective. The overlapping of parts of the projections creates areas where their luminous tones are mixed (by the additive color system - RGB) and other areas where this fusion does not happen. Thus, “Interprojection” explores the very act of generating images, in a metalinguistic discussion that addresses the ability of the video medium to produce complexity through potential combinations of elementary components.
