LAYERS RGB
Video art
“Layers RGB” is a work created specifically for display on the LED panel developed by the Cube Art Project, in Lincoln, United States. It is a panel that is divided into two perpendicular planes. In large format, the screen occupies a large part of the facade of a building in the city center.
The work takes advantage of the volumetric characteristics of this particular device, suggesting a certain illusion of depth to the audiovisual content displayed on it. A front view of layers in red, green and blue is simulated on one of the sides of the panel. The colors move and overlap each other, creating different secondary tones. Meanwhile, the other surface of the screen reveals the same layers, seen from the side perspective.
